Nutritious, delicious and just plain addictive, smoothies are arguably the tastiest method of getting your vitamins and minerals in. Couple an ice cold smoothie with a lazy day by the pool and you've got yourself a winner!

For our very first FRIDAY FOODIE FEATURE, we bring you the Sari Beri Smoothie, lovingly created by Sarah Chua, founder of Social Catch and fitness instructor at Club Aloha. Looking for a smoothie that is both delicious AND packs a punch? THIS is the smoothie for you.

What you will need:
- 1 Handful of Mixed Berries
- 1/2 Frozen Banana
- 1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
- 1 Tsp. of Maple Syrup
- 1 Tsp. of Cinnamon Powder
- 1 Tsp. of Moringa Powder (optional)
- 1 Handful of Ice Cubes
"If you want a little 'pop' of flavour, I usually add maple syrup!"
The best part about smoothies is that you can be as creative as you like with your ingredients. If you prefer your smoothie with a thicker consistency, simply add more oats or ice!

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until your desired consistency.

Once your smoothie is completely blended through, pour the contents into your favourite glass, kick back and enjoy your very own Sari Beri Smoothie.

Simple, nutritious and downright yummy, the Sari Beri is just what you need to kick start your day or if you simply need a midday pick-me-up. Try it out for yourself and let us know in the comments what you think of Sarah's recipe!
